Tianjin, China – November 28 – The inauguration ceremony of the National Seawater Desalination Industry Alliance was held this morning in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, bringing together 217 member organizations and nearly 300 industry representatives to witness a new beginning for collaborative development in China’s desalination sector. Among them, Resafe Environmental, a specialized manufacturer of grooved coupling + cartridge housing products, participated in the event and was officially inducted as one of the alliance’s founding members, joining industry peers in advancing high-quality development of China’s seawater desalination industry.
The conference served as a landmark gathering in China’s desalination field, with leaders from the Ministry of Natural Resources and relevant Tianjin municipal departments in attendance. Initiated by 25 research institutes and leading enterprises, the alliance aims to “integrate resources, foster collaborative innovation, and enhance industrial competitiveness,” with a focus on driving technological progress and high-quality development in seawater desalination.
During the industry insights session, representatives from government bodies, research institutions, and key enterprises engaged in high-level exchanges on critical topics such as industrial chain upgrading, core technology innovation, and regional policy support. Discussions prominently featured themes like “domestic substitution” and “achieving self-sufficiency in core equipment,” injecting strong momentum and clear direction for the industry’s high-quality growth.
